I've been a keen self taught photographer for the past 10 years. I first started photography in late 2001 with a simple point and shoot camera, slowly progressing to where I am today. If I take 100 photographs and get 'two keepers' I'll be happy and any more are always a bonus. I use a Nikon D90 DSLR and also use a Mamiya 645 Pro (Medium Format), Nikon F100 and F90 as film cameras.

Got my two rolls of Kodak Ektar developed by DS Colour Labs in Manchester. I'm really pleased with the outcome of the negatives. They also burn a copy of the scanned negatives to a cd where there isn't any charge for this process at present. I find the home scans on an old Epson 4490 is producing much more natural colours and retaining better detail in the sky. Here are my favorite selection of photo's from the two rolls of Kodak Ektar. Both rolls of film were shot using my Nikon F100. I just find there is something still magical about photography when using film :)
